Denon Consumer warranty is two years, this also covers all optical pickup units ( DVD/CD players).
Please note, we are noticing that alot of people are using their 5,6 and 7 channel surround sound receivers to listen to music, this is great, however when used in multi channel stereo mode and played at a moderate to high level, excessive heat is generated. If you think about it, it's pretty logical, up to 7 power amplifier running at a high level, that's a lot of heat ! If poorly ventilated ,can cause the long term reliability to be compromised, or even worse, premature failure. Most manufacturers now are suggesting approx. 15-20 cm of clear space above the receiver.
